Peer-Review and Editorial Policy

The Peer Review Journey

To ensure maximum transparency for our authors, here is our standard workflow:

Submission & Initial Screening: Managing editors check for scope, plagiarism (via Turnitin), and basic technical quality (1-5 days).

Double-Blind Peer Review: At least two independent experts evaluate the scientific merit. Reviewers and authors remain anonymous to each other (approx. 28 days).

Editorial Decision: Based on review reports, the EIC decides: Accept, Minor/Major Revision, or Reject.

Publication: Accepted manuscripts are professionally typeset and published online with a permanent DOI from Zenodo.

PEEAP implements a rigorous peer-review system to safeguard the scholarly quality and integrity of its published articles. The journal adopts a double-blind peer-review model, in which reviewer identities remain anonymous to authors, and authors’ names are withheld from reviewers. This ensures an unbiased and fair evaluation process.

Reviewers are selected from the Editorial Scientific Board or identified externally through searches of relevant scholarly literature. All reviewers must possess appropriate subject expertise and declare the absence of any conflicts of interest. The Editor-in-Chief holds overall responsibility for overseeing the review process and making final publication decisions.

The journal also upholds strict editorial independence. Editorial Board members do not influence reviewers’ scientific judgments and are excluded from handling their own submissions. Manuscripts authored by board members are assigned to at least two independent external reviewers, and editorial decisions are made by board members who have no conflicts of interest.

APC and Open Access

We are pleased to announce that the Article Publishing Charge (APC) is completely free for manuscripts submitted by 31 December 2026. Take advantage of this opportunity and submit your article within the deadline. Full APC without discount: USD 300 (excluding taxes).

PEEAP is a fully Open Access journal. All articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license. This means that anyone is free to share and adapt the work, provided the original authors and source are properly cited.

Copyright and Permissions

Authors who publish with PEEAP retain the copyright to their work without restrictions. By submitting to PEEAP, authors grant the journal a non-exclusive license to publish and distribute the article in all formats.

Archiving

PEEAP ensures the long-term preservation of its content. All published articles are permanently archived by the Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) to guarantee continuous accessibility.
