Journal Scope and Ethical Standards

PEEAP is a peer-reviewed scholarly journal that publishes original research articles in the areas of applied physics, electrical engineering, and the use of artificial intelligence in education, along with closely related disciplines. Submissions must be original works that have not been previously published and are not under review by any other journal. The journal follows the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) Best Practice Guidelines and is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in academic publishing.

Peer Review Process

The journal employs a Double-Blind Peer Review process. This means that the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential throughout the evaluation. Every manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent expert reviewers. The final decision regarding acceptance, revision, or rejection rests with the Editor-in-Chief or a designated member of the Editorial Board based on the reviewers' recommendations and the manuscript’s scientific quality.

Plagiarism Detection

PEEAP maintains a zero-tolerance policy regarding plagiarism. All submitted manuscripts are screened for originality using professional plagiarism detection software (such as Turnitin or iThenticate) before entering the peer-review process. Manuscripts found to contain significant levels of unoriginal content or unauthorized reuse of text without proper citation will be summarily rejected.

Responsibilities of Authors

Authors are required to report research findings truthfully and accurately and must refrain from fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, and duplicate or redundant publication. All sources must be appropriately acknowledged. Authorship should be limited to individuals who have made substantial academic contributions. ORCID IDs are strongly recommended for all authors to ensure accurate attribution. Any potential conflicts of interest and sources of financial support must be disclosed. Authors must promptly inform the editor of any significant errors identified after submission or publication.

Responsibilities of Editors

Editors are responsible for publication decisions based exclusively on the scholarly value, originality, and relevance of submissions. They ensure that the peer-review process is fair, impartial, and confidential, appoint suitably qualified reviewers, and uphold editorial independence. Editors must avoid conflicts of interest and safeguard the confidentiality of all submitted materials.

Responsibilities of Reviewers

Reviewers are expected to treat manuscripts as confidential and to conduct evaluations in an objective, constructive, and timely manner. They should draw attention to significant uncited literature and report any ethical issues, suspected plagiarism, or potential misconduct to the editor. Reviewers are also required to disclose any conflicts of interest that may affect their judgment.

Conflicts of Interest and Ethical Governance

The journal has explicit policies addressing conflicts of interest, data integrity, ethical oversight, intellectual property rights, and research involving human participants or animals. Where relevant, ethical approval and consent procedures must be clearly documented.

Revenue, Advertising, and Marketing Practices

All sources of revenue and business practices are openly disclosed on the journal’s website. Editorial decisions are made independently of financial considerations. Any advertising is clearly distinguished from editorial content, and direct marketing activities are conducted responsibly, accurately, and without misleading information.
